Over 10,000 people from all 89 regions of Russia and 40 countries will participate in the International Forum for Civic Participation "We Are Together." The International Forum for Civic Participation "We Are Together" will be held from December 4 to 8 at the central exhibition hall "Manege."
The forum will bring together various groups from at least 40 countries, including volunteers currently working in border regions, leaders of various non-profit organizations and foundations, finalists of the international "We Are Together" award, as well as representatives of government agencies and businesses. The forum will be preceded by a volunteer exhibition, which will open on November 4, the National Unity Day, at "Manege."
The key part of the forum's program is the awards ceremony for the winners of the international "We Are Together" prize, aimed at supporting leaders of socially significant initiatives. This event has traditionally been attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The idea for the award was voiced during the Russian President's meeting with volunteers of the "We Are Together" campaign in 2020.
The award consists of five stages: application submission, technical expertise, regional stage, semifinal, and final. This year, 45,544 applications were submitted to the national track of the award from all 89 regions of Russia.
