HAPPY ANNIVERSARY CCECRR!

February brings a grand celebration for the members and supporters of CCECRR. The Romanian-Russian Chamber of Economic and Cultural Cooperation marks 10 years of activity, a decade of constant efforts to promote and develop mutually beneficial economic and cultural relations between Romania and Russia. In a complex global context, the Chamber has successfully navigated all the challenges that have arisen, maintaining diplomacy as an essential tool in strengthening bilateral ties. Through initiatives such as supporting the Old Believers community and compatriots, organizing significant economic and cultural events, the Chamber has affirmed its role as a bridge between the two countries. For the future, new projects are proposed to contribute to the restoration and strengthening of Romanian-Russian relations, reflecting the ongoing commitment to cooperation and mutual understanding.
The President of the CCECRR Tudor Afanasov has conveyed the following message to all our members and partners, "At this significant moment, marking 10 years since the establishment of the Romanian-Russian Chamber of Economic and Cultural Cooperation, we wish to express our profound gratitude to all partners and members who have steadfastly supported our activities and initiatives. Your contribution and dedication have allowed us to promote peace and diplomacy in a challenging global context. Without your valuable support, our achievements would not have been possible." Without the support of diplomacy, many projects would not have been realized, a fact also highlighted by the President of the Chamber in his message, "On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Romanian-Russian Chamber of Economic and Cultural Cooperation, we wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Russian Embassy in Romania and, in particular, to His Excellency V. I. Kuzmin, for the constant support provided.
In a period when, unfortunately, many officials in Romania have opted for a more reserved stance in diplomatic relations with Russia, His Excellency, Ambassador V. I. Kuzmin, together with the Russian Embassy, have shown special attention and actively supported the economic and cultural environment in our country, leaving the door open to anyone who wished to maintain an active relationship with Russia. This support was essential for the continuation of existing projects and the initiation of new initiatives aimed primarily at maintaining and developing a good neighborly relationship between our countries."
Sincere thanks are extended for the openness and constant promotion of dialogue and bilateral cooperation, elements that are the foundation of a united and prosperous international community, to all diplomats and political representatives, and members of civil society who have been involved in the development of Romanian-Russian relations.
The Board of Directors of the CCECRR also sent a message to all Russian compatriots, Old Believers who have been involved in the Chamber's activities over the past 10 years. "We express deep gratitude to the Russian Old Believers and our compatriots who, despite unjustified Russophobia, have stayed with our Chamber, continuing to be involved in cultural projects. These efforts underline that there are alternatives to conflict, promoting peace and mutual understanding." Further details about the activities and projects of the Chamber are available on the official website www.ccecrr.ro.
In the 10 years of activity, the Romanian-Russian Chamber of Economic and Cultural Cooperation has organized and supported a series of significant events. Here are five notable examples:
Bilateral Economic Forums: Organization of annual economic forums that brought together businessmen from both countries to develop new commercial partnerships and to boost bilateral investments.

These initiatives have contributed to the strengthening of relations between Romania and Russia, demonstrating the Chamber's commitment to working for a common prosperous and peaceful future.
On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the CCECRR will propose a guide called "20 Steps for Relaunching a Partnership of Good Neighborliness and Mutual Respect, for a Better and Safer Future." The first 10 steps are proposed below, and the rest we wish to develop with all interested partners who can submit their proposals to us by April 10th at www.ccecrr.ro:
