Since May 22, 2020, due to re-registration, FBA EAC has changed its name

Dear Heads of Representative Offices of FBA EAC!

 

We would like to inform you that since May 22, 2020, due to re-registration, FBA EAC has changed its name to Association "Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation" (FBA EAC).

The staff of FBA EAC has restructured its website and completed all legal and financial procedures for the successful operation of the Association in its new status.

 

We would like to remind you that we are waiting for the following documents from those who have NOT yet send it:

 

1. Consent (or application) to continue working as Head of Representative Office in Eanhlish and Russian. 

2. Application form 

3. Passport data (for new Power of attorney) 

4. Updated photo (for the booklet and site, if the old photo is not satisfy you). 

 

We inform you about the events held in the business life of the FBA EAC in June 2020:

On June 11, 2020 the regular meeting of the Bureau of the Executive Board was held by video conference. Members of the Executive Board, Vice-Presidents, Heads of Representative Offices of the Association were invited to the meeting. Decisions were made to strengthen control over the payment of annual membership fees in accordance with the requirements of the FBA EAC Charter and the Regulation on membership fees of the Association. Also members of the Executive Board took a number of decisions related to the expansion of the geography of the Association and the involvement of representatives of large international business in the FBA EAC. On June 18, 2020 the Second Forum of Association was held in the format of a video conference with plenary sessions: "How to change to survive?", "Inter-sectoral interaction and synergy in the exhibition and congress industry", "Digital reality - virtual company and hybrid events". Among the issues discussed were: the company online and digitizing business, services and platforms for online events, what industry associations faced in the era of COVID, the best anti-crisis industry cases from associations, how to build the most productive relationship between associations and the state in the new environment, forecasts for recovery from the crisis for the global and Russian economy, exhibitions as a driver of the Russian economy in the post quarantine period, how to most effectively manage associations in the new reality, and others. On June 25, 2020 the International Leasing Group became a member of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation. The entry agreement was signed by the General Director of JSC International Leasing Group V. Sokolov and the General Director of FBA EAC O. Berezovoy. The President of FBA EAC A. Tkachuk took part in the negotiation process. The parties discussed the nearest plans to establish an International Leasing Committee and prospects for further cooperation. On June 29, 2020 an on-line meeting of S. Glazyev, Member of the Collegium (Minister) on Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, with candidates for members of the Working Group on Key Directions of Integration Development at the Consultative Council on EEC Cooperation with the EAEC Business Council from the Russian side was held.

The FBA EAC was represented at the meeting by its Director General Oleg Berezovoy, who proposed to implement in practice the provisions of the draft Strategic Directions for the development of the Eurasian integration until 2025, to implement a number of pilot projects in the field of customs audit, exchange trade and single payment space. On June 30, 2020 a new issue of the magazine "Eurasian Financial and Economic Herald" was published. The magazine geography is represented by the following countries: Russia, Mongolia, Armenia, Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Austria, France, Bulgaria. In July 2020 the following events are planned:

On July 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. it is planned to hold a meeting of the Executive Board of FBA EAC in the format of video conference (TrueConf). On the agenda of the meeting: on the admission of new members to the FBA EAC, on the representation of the FBA EAC, on the priorities of the FBA EAC. 

In July 2020 the meetings of the FBA EAC committees will be held: committee on economic and strategic development, committee on environment and nature management, committee on international scientific and technical cooperation.

In July 2020 it is planned to fill the information in the "Personal Cabinet" section created for the members of the FBA EAC on the web-site of the Association.  Access to the personal cabinet will be provided by password and login, the information will be confidential.

In order to fill the Personal Cabinet, please, send the actual information on your company, namely:

-type of activity, initiatives (goods, services) that you would like to implement or purchase, projects for implementation,

-contacts that you would like to get, which countries and business segments you plan to interact with, etc.   

The following events are planned in the near future:

A number of events of the XIII Russian Business Week have been moved to October 2020. Conferences and round tables on the most important economic problems are planned within the framework of the Russian Business Week. The annual RSPP Congress, Digital Transformation Forum, Investment Forum, Tax Forum, Environmental and Industrial Safety Conference, and Social and Labor Relations Forum will take place. The time of the Forum will be announced additionally.

In November 2020 the results of the World through the Eyes of the Photographer competition, a competition for non-professional photographers, will be summed up. We invite all amateur photographers from different countries to take part in the contest. On 26-27 November 2020 the VII Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum "Eurasian Economic Union and the EU: Search for New Formats of Cooperation" is planned to be held. The forum programme includes a business breakfast and panel discussions. We invite business representatives from Russia and other countries, as well as sponsors and co-organizers to participate in the forum. We are ready to consider proposals on the topics of panel sessions.

The Bishkek International Financial PLAAF - Forum has been postponed to the autumn of 2020 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). The time of the Forum will be announced additionally.
