This year, the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) once again confirms its status as one of the most important business platforms for strategic and practical cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as an event where investors can explore the potential of the Russian Far East regions. More than 6,000 people from 76 countries and regions will participate in the forum.
On the first day, the International Forum “Falcon Day,” the BRICS Creative Innovations Forum, and the International Scientific and Practical Russian-Vietnamese Conference (marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations) will be held. Additionally, an extensive business program is planned within the main agenda.
Vladimir Putin will make a working visit to Vladivostok and participate in the IX Eastern Economic Forum.
On September 4th, talks are scheduled between the President of Russia and the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, as well as discussions with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin.
The head of state will also view an interactive presentation of the development results of the Far East, with video conference participation from residents of the Advanced Development Territories (TORs) ready to launch their productions. He will also hold a meeting on infrastructure development in the Far East. On the same day, a working meeting between the President and the Governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, will take place.
On September 5th, the central event of EEF-2024 will be the plenary session, with the participation of Vladimir Putin, Anwar Ibrahim, and Han Zheng.
An exclusive feature of EEF-2024 will be the presentation of unique Russian wines. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to learn about the history and products of leading Russian wineries. Over ten top wineries will bring their collections to Vladivostok. Additionally, a comprehensive program of master classes and tastings is planned as part of EEF:
• The “Valerii Zakharin” wine house, known for its extensive experience with Crimean indigenous varieties, will present a set of rare varieties;
• “Derbent-vino” will conduct a tasting of “Dagestan Sparkling Wines”;
• “Legend of Crimea” will showcase its new offerings in the white and sparkling wine segments;
• Alma Valley will demonstrate the potential of the “Pinot Noir” variety in the Crimean terroir through its own samples made in various styles.
